Assistant Manager / Manager - Accounts

About the Job Opportunity

We are looking for a chartered accountant with over 2 years of relevant work experience in income tax and statutory compliances, who is good with processes and system setting, is detail oriented and has high ownership. As a Corporate Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective accounting processes and manuals, internal controls, and compliances, to ensure timely and accurate preparation and reporting of financial statements. In this role, you will have plenty of opportunity to grow professionally, take independent decisions with respect to accounts operations including compliances and manage a team of 3-4 accountants. You will be reporting to the senior management including the CEO and be part of the Accounts and Finance team of 8 people.

Job Description:

1. Ensuring monthly TDS, GST, RERA etc. compliances are made on time
2. Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing in compliance with the latest accounting standards and Companies Act provisions
3. Preparing various MIS and reporting to the management
4. Coordinating statutory audits of financial statements.
5. Developing and implementing best accounting practices and improvising existing processes
6. Ensuring seamless accounting processes with adequate internal controls
7. Working cohesively with the FP&A team to complement them
