Plant Supervisor | Springvale

Heidelberg Materials Australia is a leading supplier of heavy building materials to the construction industry through our network of over 300 quarry, ready-mixed concrete, logistics and support operations. We are now looking for a Plant Supervisor, someone who is passionate about customer service, safety oriented, results focused with a strong work ethic, to join our team at the Westall Concrete Plant and Rail Depot in Springvale.  The successful candidate will be required to operate the front-end loader, oversee the weighbridge, and provide all round general plant maintenance.

This role will see you working Monday to Friday, with weekend work and night shift work according to business needs.
 

In your new role with us, you will:

• Be a part of the team that runs the Rail depot & Concrete plant, ensuring stock levels are maintained

• Provide general maintenance on both fixed and mobile plant

• Ensure the plant is always kept neat and tidy

• Manage orders to ensure delivery and products meet quality requirements

• Can work around industry requirements, shift work at times

• Have Quarry / Depot / Concrete plant industry knowledge

• FEL experience preferred

• Weighbridge and computer knowledge

• Manage and Issue permits for Contractors
