Join Valmet as a Service Growth & Customer Satisfaction Trainee within our Services department in Lucca to contribute to initiatives aimed at understanding, measuring and improving customer satisfaction and service performance.
This project supports the continuous development of Valmet’s service offering, with a focus on improving customer experience and service performance across the service lifecycle.
The initiative provides exposure to a structured, international, and cross-functional environment, offering the opportunity to learn how service-related activities contribute to business performance and customer value.
What You’ll Do
Support activities related to understanding and improving customer satisfaction and service performance
Contribute to the development of a clear, measurable, and increasingly customer-oriented service approach, while building a solid understanding of service operations in a global industrial company.
Working in collaboration with different internal teams within service, sales, and digital functions
Learning experience in areas such as service design, data analysis, and process improvement.
Expectations for You:
We are looking for someone with:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a master’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Management, Mechanical), Business Administration, Service Design, or Industrial Management
A strong analytical mindset, performance metrics and dashboards
An educational background or interest in service processes and customer journey mapping
High digital and IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft 365 tools, Power BI, and Power Apps
An interest or basic experience in project work and cross-functional collaboration
Fluency in English and Italian

We offer
6 months of paid internship and company canteen available.
You will join the Services department, an international and collaborative environment that encourages learning, knowledge sharing, and development. The team offers the opportunity to expand your skills while contributing to the continuous improvement of products and services that create value for customers.
In this role, you will collaborate with experienced stakeholders across service, sales, and operations, gaining exposure to real business topics, including performance indicators and customer-focused improvement initiatives.

How service activities are structured and managed within a global industrial organization
The fundamentals of customer experience and service performance measurement
How data and KPIs support service analysis and improvement actions
How to work effectively with cross-functional teams in an international setting
Basic concepts of service design and process improvement
