What You'll Be Doing
- Operate off-road haul truck (or similar heavy mobile equipment) to transport raw materials safely and efficiently across the quarry site
- Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any issues
- Follow established production, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and team members to maintain smooth operations
- Support site productivity by maintaining consistent haul cycles and assisting with general plant duties as needed
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to operate or quickly learn heavy mobile equipment safely and effectively
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Mechanical awareness with the ability to identify basic equipment issues
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
