Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsible for all quality control and inspection from assigned site/factories.
• Full time work at assigned site/factories
• Expected to do inspection for all shipments out of assigned site/factories.
• Take responsibility for the components from outsourced suppliers, mostly Iron casting.
• Help ensure the quality of their machining workshop.
• Help ensure the quality of their assembly workshop.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Take ownership of assigned supplier shipment quality control.
• Make sure all products are inspected before delivery.
• Collect and summary the inspection date, report to related team.
• Provide effective and professional support to shipment activities, when needed,
• Address timely and effective communication internally and externally.
• Escalate the critical issues to management for support, when necessary.
• Support other SQE to get more clear information for quality issue from related plant.
• Other job assigned by leader.

EDUCATION:

• College or above, Engineering & mechanical is preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 6 years of Quality control or inspection related experience.
• Have iron & SS casting process & quality control experience.
• Have experience Iron and SS machining quality control experience.
• Valve or similar products work experience are preferred.
• Professional skills: Can read the drawings and use measuring instruments;
• Computer: Basic skills in operating office software (such as Word, Excel, etc.)
• Communication skills: good expression skills and be able to communicate effectively
• Language skills: Mandiran & English (Reading & Writing)
