Utilize a wide range and depth of technical and specialized knowledge to establish, evaluate, teach, perform, and monitor clinical laboratory procedures performed in the organization's ancillary or clinical areas according to regulatory requirements to support continuous quality improvement of laboratory services.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical laboratory performing high complexity testing required.
• Bachelor's degree and completion of a certified clinical program in medical laboratory science or associate's degree and MT (HEW) certification required.
• Effective communication skills, initiative, teamwork, and flexibility required.
• Certified medical laboratory scientist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists MLS(ASCP), American Medical Technologist (AMT).
• Equivalent certifications include Medical Technologist (MT(ASCP)) OR Clinical Laboratory Scientist certified by the National Credentialing Agency.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Laboratory regulatory requirements experience preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
