Adjunct - Earth and Space Sciences Lectures & Labs
JOB SUMMARY
Marymount University seeks to build a pool of qualified instructors to teach courses in Astronomy, Geology, and Physical Science. Qualified applicants will be contacted when the need arises.
Responsible for providing a quality learning experience for Marymount University students on a semester basis.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach designated courses and must be committed to program development and monitoring course content, course implementation, and clinical experiences.
Maintains appropriate office hours and advises students on program requirements as well as professional development/career opportunities.
Building department program; enhancing student engagement and community outreach; participating in departmental assessment and faculty governance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Master’s degree at minimum; PhD degree in related field preferred for graduate teaching preferred
Experience
2-3 years of teaching experience and/or professional experience in related discipline; experience in student advising and teaching pre-service teachers in a university setting.
