We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Staff Level Production Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of experience in production engineering and workover operations. The successful candidate will assist the Production Engineering Manager and Supervisor in supporting daily workover activities, optimizing daily operations, and working on impactful company-wide projects. This role requires field time, and the ability to drive a company-provided vehicle.


 

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Support Daily Workover Activities: Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring workover operations to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Project Management: Work on company-wide projects that impact the production team, providing technical expertise and ensuring project goals are met.
  • Optimize Daily Operations: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Contractor Collaboration: Work closely with contractors to establish and maintain best practices in production operations.
  • Field Work: Spend significant time in the field, ensuring operations are running smoothly and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Required Qualifications:

  •  Experience: Minimum of 7 years in production engineering with significant workover experience required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in production engineering software and tools, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of workover techniques.
  • Driving Requirements: Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company-provided vehicle.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and contractors.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
