About the role

Nasdaq is seeking an experienced, proactive, and results-driven Marketing Specialist to join our European Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing within the financial technology industry and a good understanding of the capital markets.


Based in London you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing programs, launching and positioning products, and measuring marketing performance to ensure continuous improvement. You will work closely with business, sales, and product stakeholders to identify and implement effective marketing strategies. This position reports to the Head of Marketing for European Markets, based in London and you would work with the business area Digital assets.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes comprehensive marketing strategies, campaigns, and product promotions across various online and offline channels.
  • Collaborates with product and sales teams to understand market needs and create marketing collateral, including presentations, sales enablement materials, website updates, client communications, whitepapers, thought leadership content, event support, and more.
  • Conceptualizes, designs, and implements marketing activities and materials such as brochures and audio/visual content.
  • Manages relationships with external agencies to ensure their work meets organizational requirements, deadlines, and budget constraints.
  • Works with the Events Team to promote Nasdaq’s participation in conferences, seminars, and other industry events.
  • Analyzes marketing metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, providing recommendations for optimization.
  • Works with business and marketing specialists to model and lead the marketing funnel, including its various stages and the handoff to sales.
  • Tracks marketing ROI on sales pipeline, trade volume, and business unit growth.
  • Actively seeks challenging assignments and is enthusiastic about exploring new opportunities to enhance marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Proven experience, with a focus on financial services, investment/trading.
  • Proven success in B2B demand generation marketing, with experience in building marketing funnels and understanding sales pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and regulatory environments.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and understand marketing metrics.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Marketo is good to have.
  • Essential experience with Salesforce and funnel management, including reporting, data, and analytics is good to have
