Job Description
About Applied Intuition
We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.
About the role
Applied Intuition is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Cross Functional Producer to support our Design team. This role will be pivotal in driving the execution of initiatives (e.g., brand design, industrial design) that require close collaboration between Design and Cross Functional partners across all verticals (e.g., Defense, Automotive). The ideal candidate will be a master of project management, a clear communicator, and possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Leveraging a deep understanding of what it takes to make great design and a strong bias to action, you will continually refine workflows for efficiency, improvement and raising the quality bar.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Manage end-to-end design project lifecycles by establishing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation using project management tools (e.g., Slack, Monday, Figma) to track progress, manage dependencies, and provide stakeholder visibility
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, set clear expectations across all teams, communicate roadblocks, and serve as the main point of contact between Design and Cross Functional partners (e.g., Engineering, Marketing)
- Facilitate communication, lead meetings with agendas and action items, and collaborate with teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Source and manage vendor partnerships including procurement, bid negotiations, rights and usage as applicable, drafting Master Service Agreements / Statements of Work and tracking invoicing through fund release and budget reconciliation
- Own and track any licensing or clearances required in partnership with our legal team
- Identify and implement workflow improvements, document best practices, and contribute to the evaluation of new productivity tools
We're looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience as a producer, program manager, or in a similar role within a dynamic design, marketing or creative setting
- A proven track record of successfully managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
- A clear understanding of managing project financials and vendor relationships
- Proven knowledge of licensing and clearance processes
- A solid understanding of the creative development process, encompassing design principles, production workflows, digital asset creation
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with AI tools and their applications in design (e.g., MidJourney)
