Your Global Media Career, Centred in Malaysia. Join WPP Media’s Regional Operations Centre (ROC) in Kuala Lumpur, our dynamic hub for delivering world-class media operations and strategy to global clients.

The Senior Executive is the operational backbone of the performance pod, accountable for end-to-end campaign delivery from brief interpretation through to campaign close.

This is not a pure oversight role: you are hands-on across platforms while also leading execution quality, owning reporting integrity, and directing optimisation decisions across assigned Maisons.

You translate the media plan into campaigns across platforms, build and QA campaigns personally, oversee activation, drive optimisation, and QC reports before it reaches the performance and client growth team.

Work closely with the executive as a team to deliver efficiently and troubleshoots operation hurdles, and ensures every deliverable meets the standard.

Key Deliverables

  • Internal briefs translating client requirements into implementation-ready direction.
  • Understand Media planning across channels with audience, budget, and phasing logic if needed
  • Hands on Campaign Execution across all platforms ( Meta, Tiktok, Pinterest, Google) with tagging details done accurately.
  • Campaign QA ensuring zero-error activation.
  • Weekly pacing notes and campaign health updates.
  • Weekly performance reports with insights, optimisation recommendations, and strategic commentary.
  • A/B test summaries with documented learnings.
  • Post-campaign reports (PCRs) with actionable insights.

Success Looks like:

  • End-to-end campaign execution delivered on-time with zero critical errors.
  • Reporting signed off with accurate data, clear insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Proactive identification and resolution of optimisation opportunities before they become escalations.
  • Demonstrated upskilling impact on Executives within the pod.
  • Strong client confidence at working level with trusted as the go-to for performance updates and operational questions.
  • Evidence-based optimisation decisions that drive measurable improvements in campaign KPIs.

Skills and Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in digital media, paid performance, or media agency environment with demonstrated campaign lifecycle ownership.
  • Hands-on proficiency across Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and/or programmatic platforms (DV360, TTD).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into performance narratives and strategic recommendations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns across clients and markets simultaneously with high accuracy.
  • Well-developed media landscape knowledge; confidently able to articulate current audience insights and platform capabilities.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members on execution quality and reporting standards.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented communicator who leads with recommendations, not just flags.
  • Passion for the luxury and premium brand space is a plus.
