About the role
⚠️ Please read first
This is a full-time, in-person role based in San Francisco (Presidio) - we work from the office 5 days a week.
You must be based in the Bay Area or willing to relocate before starting.
We require US work authorisation, but are open to O-1 visa sponsorship for truly exceptional candidates.
Ex-YC Founder @ Wordware
Being Real: Something didn't work out? We get it. We're looking for founders who still have that fire and want to join something that's still early but some things are working.
The Actual Opportunity: We've had 400k sign-ups and raised the biggest seed out of YC ($30m). We're defining a new category (natural language ai development) and need people who know what it takes to build something huge. you've been through the trenches - now help us navigate ours.
The Bigger Picture: We're not just talking to traditional developers. We're reaching the next 500 million people who will be "coding" with plain english - lawyers, designers, product managers, founders, and domain experts of all kinds. You know how hard this kind of opportunity is to find.
You Probably:
Ran a YC company (obviously)
Know what worked and what didn't
Still want to build something massive
Can wear multiple hats
Understand both technical and business sides
P.S.: We're backed by Spark Capital, Felicis, and Y Combinator ($30m seed — biggest out of YC round) but we still work like a seed startup. You'll be one of the first people showing the world how use Sauna.
