About the role
As an Accounts Receivable Compliance Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of Nasdaq's global accounts receivable operations. You will own key financial controls and processes that support both our internal stakeholders and the broader Finance function.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead intercompany billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing across entities and driving resolution of discrepancies.
- Own and execute global month-end and year-end financial close activities, including detailed accounts receivable reconciliations, ensuring accurate transaction recording, timely completion, and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain SOX controls related to accounts receivable, ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with internal and external auditors to respond to inquiries, provide data, and support audit processes.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements within the AR function and implement standardized processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in accounts receivable, financial operations, or a related accounting function.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements, SOX controls, and financial close processes.
- Clear communicator with strong English language skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and time zones.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with ERP or financial management systems.
- Background in a multinational or matrixed organizational environment.
- Familiarity with cross-border billing, intercompany accounting, or regulatory reporting.
This is a fixed-term position, parental leave cover (preliminary until April 2028), located in Vilnius and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
