Job Description

We are looking for a talented attorney to join our legal team based in Sydney, Australia to support our rapidly growing and evolving business.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities will include supporting strategic projects and agreements, as well as new and mature technology-driven offerings, counselling business and product development teams on a wide range of matters, and working with local and international members of the legal department to ensure that relevant legal and regulatory requirements and risks are understood and managed. You will also provide day-to-day advice to business teams, analyze and resolve issues that arise and handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
Principal duties include providing ongoing legal advice on a wide range of legal areas, including in relation to competition & consumer law and other regulatory requirements.
A day in the life
You must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. The ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, is also essential.
You will be expected to work independently while also contributing successfully to cross-functional teams. You will work in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing, and will need great judgment in ambiguous situations, a sense of humor and a desire to learn and be curious.
- Law degree and admission to relevant bar association
- Experience in private practice or in house experience
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, oral)
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of legal experience- Law degree and admission to relevant bar association
- Experience in private practice or in house experience
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, oral)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
