Role Summary and Impact
The Accounting Senior Associate plays a critical role in upholding the financial integrity and transparency of the organization. This position is responsible for meticulously analyzing and verifying all financial and accounting transactions, ensuring the accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS. The Senior Associate is instrumental in delivering timely, reliable, and relevant financial information to management, empowering informed strategic decision-making and robust financial control. Key responsibilities encompass comprehensive accounting analysis, the elaboration of critical financial reports (including Annual and Eventual EEFF and P&L), managing complex reconciliations, and actively supporting various external and internal audits (PWC, SOX, Tax, BFC), thereby contributing directly to the company's financial compliance, reporting excellence, and overall financial health.
Skills and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in similar accounting roles.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing financial statements (EEFF) and management reports.
- Proven experience in comprehensive account analysis and reconciliation.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of NICS (National Accounting Standards, if applicable) and IFRS.
- Solid understanding of tax legislation.
