AWS Devops Microservices Engineer

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an AWS DevOps Microservices Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by.
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructures using services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, Route 53, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, and MSK.
- Build and operate production-ready container and streaming platforms, including EKS, ECS, Kafka, and AWS MSK, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild to support automated deployments and DevOps workflows.
- Implement enterprise-grade Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, applying cloud security best practices including IAM hardening, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance controls.
- Leverage AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude.ai) to improve productivity, automate workflows, enhance troubleshooting, and optimize cloud cost and performance.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 7 years of experience in AWS-focused roles with solid practical expertise across core cloud services.
OR
- High School Diploma/GED from AND 10 years of Demonstrated hands-on experience in AWS-focused roles
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Advanced English Level (C2).
- Experience in infraestructure EKS, ECS, MSK.
- Experience implementing CI/CD tools and DevOps best practices.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including troubleshooting, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk).
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- KCSA (Kubernetes and Cloud Native Security Associate)
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Work location:
Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Belen, Heredia at least for key on-site interactions)
- Must have availability to work on-site all week if required.
