Location: Rayong, Thailand

Reporting to: Manufacturing Engineering Assistant Manager

Summary

  • Work related to Material Science Activities, Design of Experimental, supervise and provide technical expertise to support both new material development, alternate source qualification activities, MRB technical justification, knowledge-based development about Material Characteristics as per CTQ principles.
  • Collaborate with R&D / Packaging Engineering Team whenever new material is developed to ensure material characteristics as well as its function, material specifications, testing requirements, and testing method are determined right the first time.

Job Description

  • Work with R&D, Sourcing, Purchasing, and PTC team whenever new material is developed to ensure we are truly understand material characteristics, identify critical parameters of raw material, conduct correlation study (if necessary) to understand the impact to formulation or other function of use to define its specification and testing requirement.
  • Monitor trend of key material’s properties, work with sustaining team to conduct correlation study with product quality and take appropriate action as necessary.
  • Provide Assessment and Technical Rationale to justify MRB for NC material.
  • Support VIP projects for productivity and cost improvement, as well as other strategic projects assigned to support overall business strategies.
  • Design and perform lab trial study for new or alternate material introduced and provide study results to support further Feasibility study and Validation protocol.
  • Lead and participate in complex investigations and CAPA related to Material Quality Issue. Develop plans and execute tasks to solve process/material/service problems.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by ME manager.
  • Promote and enforce company policy on GMP, Safety rule and regulation, company rule & regulation, production standard work, etc.
  • Responsible for monitoring and evaluating direct reports for compliance with workplace safety and environment policy.
  • Emphasize company environment health and safety rules and regulations to employees and ensure compliance
  • Ensure that all accidents & near miss are reported to management and injured are given proper treatment
  • For Supervisory level employees, investigate all accidents & near miss and make necessary reports and recommendations.
  • For Supervisory level employees, take disciplinary action on any safety violation in consultation with Safety Officer and or Human Resource Manager

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science & Engineering, or others related field.
  • At least 7 years of operations and/or engineering experience in a cGMP regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing robust manufacturing systems and processes.
  • Strong process development and optimization skills, with experience in experimental
  • design.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop and validate ideas leading to new or improved products, processes, materials, and systems.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, across teams to achieve desired results.
  • Knowledge of FDA Medical Device process validation requirements.
  • Native Thai and advance English skills (written, verbal and presentation skills).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with data analysis programs like Minitab or other statistical analysis software.
  • Demonstrated understanding of industrial safety practices.
