About the role
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the regional product strategy and long‑term roadmap for Airside products (includes decision to develop in-house vs ODM vs. acquire). Understand manufacturing footprint and capabilities required to succeed with an in-house strategy.
Conduct market intelligence, competitive benchmarking, and customer VOC across all major markets in AME Region. Develop local strategies to cater to market needs incl. ODM if required.
Ensure compliance with regional regulatory standards, energy codes, IAQ requirements, and certifications.
Lead New Product Introduction (NPI), while supporting the sales organization with product positioning, sales tools and trainings. Ensure sales tools and teams are adequately trained to be able to position our products well.
Manage product lifecycle & obsolescence roadmaps.
Be recognized within the organization as a thought leader in area of expertise
Influence business decisions made by executive leadership
Role Purpose:
Portfolio revenue and market‑share growth in AME
Successful and timely product launches
Increased consultant specifications and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/HVAC/Refrigeration Engineering (Master’s preferred)
6–10 years of experience in Airside/HVAC product management or related technical roles
Strong technical understanding of airside systems, ventilation, IAQ, coils, psychrometrics, fans, and controls
Proven experience managing NPIs (new product introductions) and working cross‑functionally in a matrix environment
Strategic thinking in product management
Strong commercial and analytical skills; ability to build business cases
Knowledge of building HVAC applications across multiple segments
Good communication in English, stakeholder management, and influencing ability.
Familiarity with AHU selection tools, and competitive benchmarking.
