Senior Associate/Vice President, Capital Markets - Quantitative & Structured Solutions
New York, New York

We are seeking a Senior Associate / Vice President to join our Capital Markets team, focused on expanding and scaling a platform that delivers quantitative, structured, and balance sheet–oriented solutions for clients. This role will be central to the expansion of a platform designed to help clients navigate complex financial situations through customized strategies across hedging, monetization, diversification, and portfolio overlays. The platform represents a strategic priority for the firm, enhancing our ability to unlock value across client balance sheets and continue delivering institutional-quality solutions for sophisticated investors. This individual will operate at the intersection of financial engineering, derivatives structuring, and client advisory, partnering closely with internal advisors, external counterparties, and our investment team.

Key Responsibilities:

Structured Solutions & Product Development

  • Design and structure bespoke strategies across hedging, monetization, and diversification
  • Develop and iterate on new platform capabilities and investment solutions
  • Build financial models and scenario analyses across options, derivatives and structured products
  • Lead diligence and underwriting of external managers and solution providers

Execution & Implementation

  • Coordinate end-to-end execution across banks, custodians, and sub-advisors
  • Interface with counterparties to source pricing and optimize implementation
  • Support ongoing monitoring, re-underwriting, and optimization of strategies
  • Ensure consistency, scalability, and quality of delivery across the platform

Client Advisory & Coverage

  • Partner with advisors on complex balance sheet scenarios and client suitability
  • Participate in client discussions on concentrated positions, liquidity, and risk management
  • Translate technical strategies into clear, actionable client insights
  • Develop internal education materials and support firmwide training

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with banks, asset managers, and structured solution providers
  • Stay at the forefront of market developments across options, derivatives and structured solutions

About You

  • 5–8 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, derivatives, structured products, or financial engineering
  • Strong background in equity derivatives, structured solutions, or portfolio hedging
  • Experience designing or executing strategies involving options, collars, forwards, or financing solutions
  • Ability to translate complex balance sheet problems into structured, implementable solutions
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills (Excel required; programming a plus)
  • Comfortable operating across product development, execution, and client-facing work
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Clear communicator with strong problem-solving instincts and intellectual curiosity who is comfortable in front of clients and senior stakeholders
  • Proven track record presenting recommendations directly to clients and responding to real-time questions and challenges

Why This Role

  • Build a new, high-impact platform from the ground up
  • Work on complex, differentiated strategies typically seen in institutional settings
  • Direct exposure to sophisticated clients and real-world balance sheet challenges
  • Operate at the intersection of markets, structuring, and advisory in a highly collaborative environment
