Join our team as a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor, Accounts Payable. You will oversee the Accounts Payable function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time. Manage vendor relationships and lead a team of specialists. Strong leadership and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and lead the Accounts Payable Team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and payments.
• Oversee the reconciliation of accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries, and resolving payment-related issues.
• Maintain engagement and communication via phone, email, chat or any other means, with internal and external customers involved in the processes.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze accounts payable metrics and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement standard methodologies.
• Collaborate with other departments, to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support as required.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable function.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related to the position or equivalent experience of at least 6 years of experience in the accounting/finance area.
• Experience in Shared Service Centers.
• B2+ English Level. Fluent in English written and spoken.
• MS Office: Word, Power Point, Outlook - Excel intermediate.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of accounts payable processes, systems, and standard methodologies.
• Proficiency in accounting software and at least one ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDEdwards and/or Mainframe).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
