WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Patient Care Assists Radiologic Technologists, as requested, throughout the procedure.
• Cleaning Cleans and maintains examination table, equipment and work area.
• Patient Care Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety, ensure safety and comfort, and obtain cooperation.
• Documentation Obtains and records patient information.
• Patient Care Positions patient on examining the table; sets up and adjusts equipment to obtain an optimum view of specific body area as requested by the physician.
• Patient Care Positions x-ray equipment and adjusts controls to set exposure factors, such as time and distance.

Qualifications

• Required Enrolled in radiologic technologist training
• Preferred 1 year Emergency Services
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree
