Engineering Supervisor – Amanpulo

Role

We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to assist the Operations Engineer in overseeing the maintenance, repair, and preparation of resort guest rooms and facilities to ensure they meet company standards before the arrival of guests. The position supervises engineering personnel, conducts room inspections, coordinates preventive maintenance activities, and ensures that all civil, structural, plumbing, and finishing works are completed efficiently and safely to provide an excellent guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms scheduled for incoming arrivals to ensure readiness and compliance with resort standards.
• Ensure all civil, structural, plumbing, and finishing works in guest rooms are completed and functioning properly prior to guest check-in.
• Supervise engineering and maintenance personnel in carrying out repairs, preventive maintenance, and room preparation activities.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office teams to monitor room status and prioritize maintenance requirements.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and promptly resolve room defects and maintenance issues that may affect guest comfort and satisfaction.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, buildings, and resort facilities.
• Perform quality control inspections and maintain records of maintenance activities, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
• Oversee contractors and service providers performing repair, renovation, and improvement works within the resort.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building standards, and company policies in all engineering and maintenance operations.
• Prepare reports on room readiness, maintenance performance, and facility conditions, and recommend improvements to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in building maintenance, hotel engineering, resort operations, or construction supervision.
• Knowledge of civil, structural, plumbing, and finishing works.
• Experience in preventive maintenance planning and quality inspections.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when necessary.
