The Opportunity

As a Software Development Engineer in Test - Spatial Intelligence, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, robustness, and correctness of ANYmal’s spatial perception, localization, and mapping systems. Our stack transforms raw sensor data into trustworthy world models that enable safe and autonomous operation in complex real-world environments.

Testing these systems goes far beyond unit tests. You will design and implement replay-based, simulation-based, and dataset-driven validation strategies to ensure consistent behavior across diverse environments and scenarios. Your expertise in robotic software testing will enable faster iteration, broader regression coverage, and higher confidence in changes to critical systems such as SLAM, state estimation, world modeling, and learned perception components.

Working closely with spatial intelligence engineers and test automation specialists, you will take full ownership of strengthening our CI/CD pipeline, dataset validation workflows, and replay infrastructure. You will help define quality standards, improve diagnosability, and ensure that new features are validated rigorously—because in Spatial Intelligence, reliable tests and reliable robots go hand in hand.
