TSC Engineer

Title: TSC Engineer (grade: 8-11)

Report to: Chain & TSC Engineering Manager – Nabari, in Japan

Basic Function:

Product Engineer will work for timing system component engineering in NAB.

TSC product engineering including Tensioner and Arm/Guide design for customers application in engine, both development of new tensioner architecture and resin material for future business, VA/VE activity for existing products, associating with NAB sales and NAB manufacturing engineering and NAB quality group to achieve the growth objective.

Nature & Scope:

Most of engineering work are driven by Auros system and progressive status will be managed by ESO audit, task completion will be achieved by finishing ESO3/4 audit and releasing R3 drawings.

For to advance engineering activity, need to respect both technical document of global design procedure and engineering standard, preliminary engineering knowledge and English ability would be needed for to understand these documents.

Often may be involved in the technical meeting with customers so, communication ability will be expected for to establish good relationship with them through the technical discission. 

Experience & Education:

• BS or MS degree in mechanical engineering is preferred.
• CAD experience is preferred.
• More than 5 years of engineering experience is preferred.
• Freshmen is not preferred basically. But, it might be considered depending on candidate’s characteristic.
• Engineering experience which is the engine components product and the manufacturing is preferred.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Technical presentation to internal related group and customers
• Contributing NBO acquisition for future NAB growth
• Contributing DivOp improvement through VAVE activity for existing products
• Engaging NAB engineering Org enhancement

Skill Requirements:

• Computer skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel min.)
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication capability
• Works well/Get along with others
• Action oriented.
• Report in correct timing
• Japanese language fluency
• English capability more than TOEIC; 450 points is preferred.
• Ability to understand basic mechanical engineering theory and can use FMEA/FTA analysis tool at least.
