Job Description

Scopely is looking for a Lead UX Designer to join our Marvel Strike Force team remotely in the United States or Canada on a remote basis.

Marvel Strike Force is Scopely's squad-based Hero Collector RPG, housing heroes and villains across the Marvel Universe.

What You Will Do

As a Lead UX Designer on Marvel Strike Force, you will play a critical role in shaping outstanding user experiences that drive player engagement and business success. You will take ownership of complex design challenges, lead cross-functional collaboration, and influence product strategy through user-centered design. This role demands strong expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership in UX design.

  • Lead the end-to-end design process for major features or products, from user research through to high-fidelity design and validation
  • Contribute complete design solutions as an individual contributor, leading by example
  • Define and advocate for UX strategies that align with business goals and user needs
  • Manage and mentor a team of designers, both in house and external partners
  • Define the UX team’s processes and standards, and how they fit in with the rest of the team
  • Establish and maintain UX standards, best practices, and design systems to promote consistency and deliver at a high quality bar
  • Influence product vision and contribute to the broader UX discipline within the organization through thought leadership and innovation

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience in UX design with a portfolio showcasing complex, user-centered design solutions
  • Proven track record of leading a UX team with positive outcomes
  • Mastery of design and prototyping tools and techniques
  • Deep understanding of UX research methods and ability to translate insights into actionable design improvements
  • Experience designing for mobile platforms
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to evolving priorities

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
