As an IT Business Systems Analyst III, you will act as a liaison between IT and the business to ensure an understanding of business requirements when crafting and implementing new IT systems and improving existing systems!

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the design and implementation of new systems and improvement of existing systems
- Serves as the subject matter specialist and business partner between IT and business/end-user team(s)
- Translates business requirements into technical specifications to formulate technical solutions that conform to operational standards
- Conducts requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and provides recommendations based on collected information
- Ensures the maintenance, development and enhancement of existing application systems meet the organizational business objectives and IT standards
- Remediates application system issues through appropriate troubleshooting, incident, change and problem management standards using ServiceNow
- Evaluates, develops and implements new application systems and develops technical requirements following standards for software development lifecycle
- Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefit analyses in an effort to align IT solutions with business initiatives
- Serves as the IT/Telecom Site Lead for assigned power generation facilities, owning field execution, coordination, issue escalation, and on-call support to ensure reliable operations and critical infrastructure uptime
- Conducts routine site walks and system assessments; proactively identifies risk and implements preventative and corrective actions to maintain system availability
- Installs, configures, and troubleshoots network and telecommunications systems (routers, switches, firewalls, fiber, wireless, and remote communications), leading field diagnostics and restoration efforts across industrial and remote environments
- Maintains accurate field documentation and asset tracking while ensuring compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
- Required: High school diploma or GED and a minimum twelve (12) years' IT experience, OR Associate's degree and a minimum eight (8) years' IT experience, OR Bachelor's degree in IT-related field and a minimum five (5) years' IT experience
Other Requirements:
- Meet field requirements, including maintaining a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capability to safely work at heights
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
