What You'll Be Doing
- Perform welding and fabrication to repair and maintain plant equipment
- Safely operate welding machines, cutting torches, and hand tools
- Inspect equipment and welds to ensure quality and operational reliability
- Identify repair needs and support maintenance activities to reduce downtime
- Follow all safety standards and work collaboratively with plant teams
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding safely and accurately
- Capability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship in an industrial environment
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
