Weighbridge Operator/Admin Asst | Digger Rest

Heidelberg Materials Australia is one of Australia’s leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations across Australia.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and professional Weighbridge Operator/Administration Assistant to join the team at our Digger Rest Quarry.  This position requires a candidate who can provide impeccable customer service and a high degree of competence dealing with suppliers. Proficiency in use of computers is a must.
 

This role will give you the opportunity over time to broaden your skillset and perform additional roles within the quarry environment. A background in freight, allocation or logistics would be ideal, however not essential, as training will be provided. 
 

This is a full-time position, working Monday – Friday with rostered Saturday morning shifts according to business needs.
 

In your new role with us, you will:

• Manage the weighbridge and focus on accurate truck allocation

• Scheduling of maintenance on vehicles and machinery

• Provide high level customer service to our valued customer base

• Support a range of administrative tasks for the site

• Maintain office supplies by checking inventory and order items

• Base rate of $34.01 p/hour, pending experience, plus penalty rates plus super
