Process Integration Internship – NAND Structural Analysis

Project Description

The process integration internship program provides students with training and practical experience in understanding NAND structural integration through inline characterization. The project focuses on analyzing the relationship between structural parameters, process performance, probe yield, and device operation, providing exposure to real-world semiconductor manufacturing challenges.

Objective of the Project

The objective of this project is to analyze NAND structural integration using inline characterization data, to understand its impact on process performance, probe yield, and device operation.

Project Scope

In this project, the student will: - Analyze NAND process integration flow and key structural parameters - Evaluate the impact of inline NAND structural data on process performance, probe yield, and device operation - Identify and define critical inline specifications for monitoring and control - Collaborate with multiple process areas to understand cross-functional integration

Deliverables

- Analysis of correlation between inline structural data and probe yield / device performance - Definition of key inline monitoring specifications - Development of a structured technical report summarizing findings - Final presentation of project outcomes to stakeholders

Impact of Project

This project provides insights into the relationship between structural parameters and device performance, enabling improved process control, yield optimization, and engineering decision-making in NAND manufacturing.

Skillsets Required

Semiconductor background; knowledge of JMP is preferred
