As a Warehouse Team Leader at the McAllen Warehouse you will guide daily warehouse operations to ensure materials flow safely, accurately, and efficiently through a critical regional distribution hub. In this role, you will support and develop warehouse team members, remove operational obstacles, and drive continuous improvement that strengthens safety, productivity, and customer delivery performance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are consistently met
- Coordinate and assign work for material handlers, forklift drivers, and inbound/outbound teams within the McAllen DC
- Monitor daily workflow, staffing, priorities, and capacity; adjust resources to meet operational demands
- Train, coach, and support team members to reinforce safe work practices, accuracy, and accountability
- Conduct daily start‑up checks to ensure staffing readiness, equipment availability, and inventory flow
- Monitor picking, staging, kitting, and shipping accuracy and escalate issues as needed
- Partner with Planning, Logistics, Quality, and Transportation teams to support McAllen’s role in network efficiency and customer fulfillment
- Track operational metrics (safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, service levels) and identify improvement opportunities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including safety improvements, layout optimization, and process efficiency
- Communicate daily priorities, shift handoffs, and performance expectations clearly to the team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and audit‑ready warehouse environment aligned with 5S and MFT standards
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, site safety rules, and Marmon Foodservice Technologies policies
- Perform other duties as assigned to support McAllen Distribution Center operations

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in warehouse or distribution center operations
- Previous experience leading or coordinating a warehouse team preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts or other material‑handling equipment (certification required or ability to obtain)
- Working knowledge of warehouse safety standards and inventory processes
- Basic computer skills and ability to use warehouse management systems or scanners
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high‑volume or regional distribution center
- Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems (SAP or similar)
- Experience supporting inbound, outbound, or kitting operations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred due to workforce and operational needs at the McAllen site
Physical and Working Conditions
- Ability to lift, move, or handle materials up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Regular standing, walking, bending, and material handling throughout the shift
- Operation of industrial equipment in a warehouse environment
- Exposure to temperature variations, noise, and moving equipment typical of distribution operations

Warehouse Team Leaders are expected to model safe behavior at all times, reinforce compliance with Marmon Foodservice Technologies safety policies, and ensure team adherence to OSHA standards, site procedures, and company conduct expectations.
