THE ROLE

At Neo4j, our Solution Engineers are pivotal to our company’s success. As a member of our regional go-to-market team, you will partner with our sales executives, working closely with clients to showcase how the Neo4j Graph Intelligence Platform addresses their critical business needs.  Neo4j Solution Engineers play a central, hands-on role as clients consider and evaluate Neo4j technology, and support customers in an advisory capacity throughout their journey to value realization.  SE’s work with organizations across industries such as Financial Services, Telecommunications, Technology and Life Sciences understand the business and technical value of representing data using Neo4j graph database and analytics technology. You will grow as a thought leader in graphs and solve our customers’ high-value problems beyond traditional data solutions.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Developing and honing subject matter expertise to effectively discern and understand the true needs of our customers, present technology solutions that target those needs, and all in all, demonstrate thought leadership and the value of Neo4j through platform and use case demonstrations, solution architecting, workshops, and conferences.
  • Meeting and exceeding regional revenue goals, as a result of helping Sales to qualify and validate opportunities from a technical perspective and accelerate the sales cycle, adoption, renewal and expansion of Neo4j.
  • Collaborating effectively with Sales, Professional Services, Partners, Product Management, etc to deliver continuous value to customers and ensure a seamless customer experience through their entire graph journey.

What You’ll Do:

  • Confidently articulate the business and technical value of Neo4j to customers and prospects as a key technical advisor and advocate for our products and services
  • Actively drive and run the technology evaluation stage of the sales cycles.
  • Work across a number of opportunities in parallel and manage day-to-day activities such as opportunity qualification, technical discovery, presentations, platform and use case demonstrations, proof of value, sizing, and documentation of technical decision criteria.
  • Build and nurture rapport with customer stakeholders at all levels and be the trusted advisor to them to help them understand what they can achieve with Neo4j.
  • Establish, support and maintain positive, trusted relationships at all decision levels within assigned accounts.  Support cadence touchpoints with clients as well as communications surrounding key project milestones, providing technical guidance based on the audience expectations (e.g. Advisory Sessions, QBR, Executive Briefing, or Escalation Management).
  • Serve as a solution advisor and champion for clients using Neo4j, from project onboarding, through production go-live, value realization and potentially expansion.
