Full-Stack Developer Intern (AI / GenAI Systems) (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer Intern to join our team and help build AI-powered, end-to-end applications with a strong focus on LLM workflows, agentic systems, and RAG pipelines. The ideal candidate has hands-on GenAI experience, is comfortable working across the stack, and is excited to contribute directly to real production code from day one.

Your Responsibilities:

• End‑to‑end RAG development — design and implement retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines.
• LLM workflow engineering — build prompt strategies, tool use, retrieval logic, and orchestration flows.
• Agentic architectures — develop multi‑step agents using LangChain and LangGraph.
• Data ingestion pipelines — parse and process PDFs as well as structured and unstructured data.
• Backend & infrastructure — build FastAPI services, manage PostgreSQL/Alembic, integrate vector search, and use Docker/AWS.
• Frontend & system design — contribute to SvelteKit/React features and collaborate on scalable AI system architecture.

Your Profile:

• Student in computer science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or a comparable study program
• Understanding of RAG architectures and LLM workflows
• Prior work with Langchain, LangGraph-based workflows
• Experience with vector databases: Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS
• Knowledge of Docker and containerisation
• Experience with FastAPI
• Experience with SvelteKit/React/Angular/Vue or a comparable frontend framework
• Familiarity with AWS services
