Job Description:

Life and saving products constitute a significant portion of the insurance sales in HK market as well in Sun Life HK. The role supports the Product Proposition team in delivering end-to- product development in the Hong Kong market. It provides technical support across market research, product design, implementation, management, and promotion to drive initiatives aligned with the company’s business strategy and purpose.

Major accountabilities

1. Product Development and Management

• Assist in develop and implement products and other initiatives by adopting a disciplined project management approach.

• Assist in material preparation for the product development. Be responsible and pursue for quality of the project deliverables to ensure accuracy of product materials.

• Work effectively with all relevant departments across the company to implement projects on time and efficiently

2. Market Research and Product Proposition

• Closely monitor updates and changes in HK and mainland insurance market, including but not limited to industry trend, competitor movements, market competitive analysis, market opportunities and threats, specific client segment to identify the potential business opportunity.

• Support target client research to constantly identify gap in SLHK’s product to enhance Sun Life’s clients’ impact.

3. Channel Communication

• Handle enquiries and manage issues on product related matters

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing or related disciplines

• At least 2-3 years’ relevant life insurance experience in life insurance or financial industry.  Basic knowledge in insurance products.

• Excellent knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

• Excellent research and analytical skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.

• With a proactive “can-do” attitude; willing to think outside the box and put in the extra effort.

• A committed team player with a great sense of responsibility.
