What your typical day will look like:

As a People Services Team Leader, you will lead a team of People Services Advisors across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and efficient HR services to support business and employee needs across the region. You will be responsible for driving operational performance, maintaining service excellence, and ensuring HR processes and procedures are consistently executed to a high standard.

Working closely with People Services team members, HR stakeholders, and key business partners, you will coordinate day-to-day service delivery activities, monitor team performance, and provide guidance to ensure service levels and business requirements are met. You will leverage operational insights, performance metrics, and continuous improvement opportunities to enhance service effectiveness, promote best practices, and create greater visibility of how the People Services function supports the organisation. As a people leader, you will foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused culture while developing team capability and driving operational excellence across the People Services function.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of People Services Advisors across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and service-oriented culture while ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services.
  • Monitor team workflows, service queues, SLAs, and KPIs to ensure service delivery standards are met, using data and insights to improve operational performance and service quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process optimisation opportunities, enhancing service delivery effectiveness, and supporting broader HR transformation objectives.
  • Maintain and govern knowledge management practices, ensuring data dictionaries, business rules, SOPs, and internal knowledge bases remain accurate, up to date, and accessible.
  • Partner closely with the People Services Manager, HR Directors, and HR stakeholders across supported markets, acting as a key operational escalation point and gathering feedback to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Support digital transformation and cross-functional projects, contributing as a coordinator or project team member to drive operational efficiencies and strengthen employee experience.
  • Ensure all People Services activities are delivered in compliance with local employment legislation, statutory requirements, data privacy regulations, and internal governance standards across supported markets.

A bit about you:

  • Proven experience leading HR Operations, People Services, Shared Services, or Employee Lifecycle teams within a multi-country or regional environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR service delivery processes and employee lifecycle administration, with a focus on operational excellence, service quality, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams within a structured service environment.
  • Hands-on experience working with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday, including employee data management, transaction processing, reporting, and supporting process improvements.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR teams, business leaders, and regional stakeholders.
  • Analytical and process-oriented, with experience leveraging SLAs, KPIs, operational data, and system capabilities to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
