Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a motivated Paediatric Audiology Assistant (Band 3/4) to support paediatric audiology services across Norwich and King’s Lynn. This weekend‑based role is ideal for an assistant looking to contribute to high‑quality hearing assessment services for children and young people. The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive audiology team, assisting in the delivery of clinical activities and ensuring smooth service provision across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with paediatric hearing assessments under clinician supervision.
- Support the setup, preparation, and cleaning of clinical equipment.
- Help manage patient flow and administrative tasks within paediatric clinics.
- Provide excellent communication and support to children, families, and carers.
- Ensure high standards of clinical safety, documentation, and service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in audiology or paediatric clinical environments (essential).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with children.
- Ability to work independently during weekend clinics.
- Well‑organised, reliable, and confident in supporting clinical teams.
- Knowledge of paediatric audiology procedures desirable.
