This position reports to:
Finance Manager__
In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee finance and accounting functions and drive financial performance optimization for a large factory or manufacturing site. Each day, you will act as the senior finance business partner to the factory manager and support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data. You will also showcase your expertise by driving definition and implementation of standards and business guidelines to ensure continuous improvement in the financial control process.

This role is contributing to the {EL/China/Smart Power/CNILG} in {Jiangmen}. Main stakeholders are {Hub Asia, Smart Power, Electrification}.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Contributes to the definition of the finance strategy for their respective factory/manufacturing site.
Serves as the key partner to factory managers in determining strategy for their area of responsibility and developing a global business model, aligning with wider strategy, implementing them, and adjusting, as needed.
Translates the finance strategy into business plans and establishes measurable targets.
Drive operation excellence and continuous improvement together with business.
Oversees the business planning and forecasting process for their area of responsibility.
Monitors progress achieved and provides insight and analysis to support operational decision-making.
Evaluates financial implications of business decisions, builds scenarios, and recommends actions to mitigate risks.
Drives appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency, with special focus on product/business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over/under-absorption analysis/inventory analysis, etc.
Ensures the quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.
Establishes and oversees processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information.
Define and implement internal controls on financial and non-financial operations
Ensures timely and efficient communication with relevant internal and external customers to identify areas of improvement, work quality and efficiency for their area of responsibility.
Defines and implements internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations.
Liaise with external and internal auditors.
Perform fiduciary duties and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements. Eg. Board meeting, shareholder meeting etc.
Ensure risk management processes are consistently implemented in their area of responsibility.
Manage, motivate and develop team. Build a strong and sustainable finance team.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Accounting, Auditing, Economics, Business Administration etc.
Business acumen to be strong business partner.
Above 8 years’ experience in relevant finance controlling experience, at least 2 years in management position.
Excellent communication skills, optimistic, patient, persevering, good inter-personal skills, with result orientation and customer orientation mindset.
Proven problem-solving capability.
Project management skills.
Knowledge of diverse financial functions and business processes is a plus.
Good command of English.
