About The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Scrum Master who blends initiative and flexibility with pragmatic, detail‑oriented delivery. You’ll enable high‑performing Agile teams by removing impediments, fostering collaboration, and driving transparency across stakeholders—from Product Owners to senior leadership. In partnership with Product and Engineering, you’ll keep the backlog continuously refined and prioritized, and you’ll plan & coordinate production deployments for large epics spanning multiple product and shared‑services teams. You’ll coach teams on Scrum/SAFe, manage internal and external dependencies, and raise risks to the RTE and leadership when needed—always with a continuous‑improvement mindset. Hands‑on proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow is essential, along with strong facilitation, negotiation, and mentoring skills.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports team impediment removal and dependency tracking
- Facilitates Agile team ceremonies
- Ensures team agreements are in place
- Drives team iteration commitments and plan to maximize business value delivery
- Collaborates with other Scrum Masters across the ART as necessary
- Coordinates with other teams as necessary
- Key Partner with the Product Owner to ensure product backlog items are refined, prioritized, and scheduled
- Supports estimating activities within the team
- Support planning and coordination of deployments into production for large epics and initiatives spanning multiple team
- Responsible for facilitating capacity planning
- Reviews metrics to measure team progress and responsible for achieving baseline KPI
- Validates time tracking
- Protects team from external interference
- Supports ART Readiness/Preparations
- May provide Flow Board Management if supporting a Kanban team
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master with dedicated agile teams using scrum/SAFe
- Proven success working in a highly collaborative, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact
- Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and mentor skills
- Solid experience of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver solutions
- Self-motivated and flexible individual who adapts quickly and can work well in a team
- Continuous improvement mindset and ability to improve efficiency of scrum teams and the enterprise
- Management of dependencies internal and external to scrum team
- Communication skills to raise risks and blockers when necessary to RTE and appropriate team members/leadership
- Experience working closely with Product Owner to understand and align on backlog priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and group facilitation skills including the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and personality types
- Assertive - must be able to ensure agile and scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, and not afraid to be a voice of reason and authority
- Tools experience in JIRA, Confluence & ServiceNow
Preferred Skills:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe SM preferred
- Hands-on experience participating in and leading Scrum/SAFe events, such as Sprint Planning, Release Planning, and Program Increment (PI) Planning
- Working knowledge of Supply Chain
- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Thinking outside of the box is a big plus
