The Position
Join our Pharma Technical Development team for a 6-month internship, where you will gain valuable early-career exposure to vital strategic projects. In this role, you will help design new processes, develop your project management skills, and leverage emerging technologies across a variety of cross-functional initiatives.
The Opportunity

Shape Our Story: Develop and implement internal communication strategies to effectively convey site stories across Pharma Technical Operations.
Drive Employee Engagement: Support the launch of the department newsletter and co-create engaging content for internal channels including Town Halls, digital platforms, and collaborative spaces.
Optimize Data & Systems: Audit, clean, and standardize active communication distribution lists, merging duplicates and establishing uniform naming conventions to ensure seamless internal connectivity.
Establish Best Practices: Author clear documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ongoing distribution list management and directory data governance.
Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with department stakeholders and cross-functional squads to verify communication needs, align messaging, and provide subject matter expertise.
Coordinate Special Projects: Support end-to-end project management, calendar logistics, and content creation for high-impact communication workstreams.
Who You Are
You are an enthusiastic, detail-oriented communicator who is eager to learn and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry. You enjoy solving problems creatively, organizing complex data, and collaborating with diverse teams to achieve shared successes. Your bring the following qualifications:
Academic Foundation: Current student or recent graduate (within the last 12 months) of a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field, and must be available to commit to a full-time, 6-month term.
Analytical & Data Skills: Strong proficiency in spreadsheet tools (such as Excel or Google Sheets) for data filtering, deduplication, and analysis.
Platform Curiosity: Comfort or familiarity navigating digital workspace environments (such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace).
Communication & Organization: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail and the ability to securely manage internal directory information.
Project Mindset: Foundational understanding of project planning, critical thinking, and a structured approach to managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in written and spoken English.
Additional Information
Prior internship or initial work experience in a communications-related field is a plus
Familiarity with basic HTML formatting is a plus
Please Note: This is a full-time, 6-month internship. This position is not suitable for writing a university thesis.
