Join our team in Amanoi. The Assistant Financial Controller supports the Director of Finance in safeguarding the financial integrity of the property. The role ensures accurate reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial partnership with operational leaders to uphold the standards of ultra-luxury hospitality.
Main Responsibilities
1. Financial Governance & Control
• Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Ensure P&L integrity with proper revenue recognition and cost allocation.
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risk exposure.
• Maintain a robust internal control environment to safeguard assets.
• Ensure all statutory filings, tax obligations, permits, and licenses are current and compliant.
2. Audit & Compliance Excellence
• Lead coordination for internal, external, and regulatory audits.
• Review audit findings and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, SOPs, and local regulations.
• Promote ethical standards and financial transparency in all practices.
3. Strategic Financial Partnership
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with analytical insights.
• Provide meaningful financial analysis to guide operational decision-making.
• Advise the Director of Finance and Executive Committee on emerging financial trends and risks.
• Present financial information clearly and professionally to leadership teams.
Requirements
• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) highly regarded.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Experience in hospitality, tourism, or multi-site operations is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Proficient in OPERA, MC (Material Control), Symphony or equivalent systems.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
