Position Purpose:
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be part of the Galaxy team, the team behind THD's internal developer portal, building the tools and products that thousands of THD developers rely on to get their work done. Our work spans the full platform stack and sits at the foundation of how engineering gets done across the enterprise. Galaxy doesn't just build for developers, we also enable other teams to build their own tools on top of the platform, creating a self-service tool where developers across THD can get what they need, when they need it.
The Staff Software Engineer is responsible for leading a team of engineers building and designing a product that our customers and associates love. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team with engineers of all experience levels who help each other build and grow technical and leadership skills while creating, deploying, and supporting production applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

- Extensive experience with Go, React/node.js, GCP (google suite of products)
