Responsibilities:

• All activities related to the administration and formal processing of industrial property rights in Germany and abroad
• Processing incoming mail, independent file management, including tracking and monitoring deadlines
• Correspondence with government agencies and external patent law firms or service providers
• Correspondence with Freudenberg business groups and other departments

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a patent attorney’s assistant with several years of professional experience in the patent department of an industrial company or a patent law firm
• Proficiency in general secretarial duties, office organization, patent management software, online tools used by patent offices, and MS Office
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• The ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong teamwork skills
