POSITION PROFILE
The Cabinetmaker is responsible for the assembly of custom commercial office furniture constructed of wood, granite, glass, metal, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Use various machinery and hand tools to fabricate custom furniture, including: Conference tables, workstations, reception desks, credenzas etc.
Glues, fits and clamps parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit.
Trims component parts of joints to ensure proper fit.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3-5 years of woodworking experience, preferably in the furniture industry preferred
Ability to interpret shop drawings
Ability to lift up to 40lbs
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency
