Job Title: Certified Shipper
Job Schedule - 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday
1. Adheres to Integer's Core Beliefs and all safety and quality requirements.
2. Maintains specialized Hazardous materials management expertise by ensuring all IATA and DOT certifications are up to date for self.
a. DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation certification
b. Hazardous Materials Air Shipper certification
c. Hazardous Material Vessel Shipper certification
d. AES Customs training for international shipments
3. Inputs data into databases in an accurate and timely manner.
4. Maintains power industrial truck training records.
5. Performs weekly cycle counting and makes entries into Oracle inventory systems.
6. Performs weekly cycle counting and makes entries into the Oracle inventory systems.
7. Inspects shipments prior to leaving Plant for paperwork accuracy and safe loading.
8. Makes recommendations on day-to-day operations, safety issues and improvements. Implements procedures.
9. Monitors the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
10. Assists Senior Certified Shipping Coordinator when needed.
11. Performs other functions as required.
Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum Experience: 5 years related experience.
Specialized Knowledge:. May be required to maintain a commercial drivers license to adhere to government standards. Must maintain a positive motor vehicle record. Strong computer skills.
