DESCRIPTION:
Guide innovative AI solutions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, overseeing key technology initiatives that enable our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner and safer. Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement strategic technology roadmaps while managing teams across multiple locations. Support digital transformation through implementation of advanced solutions in areas like Gen AI, data analytics, and enterprise systems. Ensure operational excellence, security compliance, and continuous improvement of IT services while nurturing a collaborative culture focused on customer success.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles
• Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including global and China-specific solutions, with a focus on enterprise applications (deep expertise in LLM aggregation is not required)
• Proven experience leading AI programs, including building the capability of technical research, use case deployment, and value realization tracking
• Extensive experience managing complex enterprise IT projects and programs
• Industry certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or relevant technical certifications are advantageous
• Solid knowledge of IT applications, digital products, and data domains
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Experience with agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to align technology solutions to business objectives
• Demonstrated expertise in business and IT transformation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience working within matrix organizational structures
• Proven track record in change management and organizational transformation
• Background in consulting firms and/or the biopharma industry is a strong plus
• Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams
