Responsibilities and Tasks
Product Engineering for Low Power DRAM (LPDDR) products supporting Mobile, Automotive, and Data Center applications
Develop and maintain test flows to ensure specification compliance and to improve yield and quality throughout NPI and HVM phases
Perform failure analysis through data mining, tester analysis, and silicon characterization
Drive and implement rootcause fixes in collaboration with Circuit Design and Fab Process teams
Validate circuit functionality and electrical performance across different operating conditions
Support NPI activities, including bringup, characterization, and crosssite handover
Own LPDDRspecific validation items (e.g., power, timing margin, IDD, trainingrelated behaviors)
Support yield ramp and issue containment during early production phases
Required Skills
Strong electrical testing skills using ATE platforms
Solid Electrical Engineering fundamentals
Experience with data mining and yield analysis
Good understanding of IC design and semiconductor devices
Programming capability: Python is preferred
Familiarity with LPDDR architecture and JEDEC specifications is a strong plus
Experience in test data analysis automation or scripting is highly desirable
CrossFunctional Collaboration
Partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Marketing organizations
Work with Micron Memory Japan and US Product Engineering teams
Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Process Integration, Application Engineering, and Test Solutions teams
Participate in crosssite technical alignment and handover between Taiwan, Japan, and other global teams
Education
Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Desired: Background in VLSI, Semiconductor Physics, or Nanotechnology
Preferred: Japanese language capability is a plus
