About the Role
The Operations Manager / Production Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the operation, including industrial maintenance, warehouse, and production control areas. This position is 100% onsite at our Health & Medical plant in Yumbo, Valle de Cauca, reporting directly to the Site Manager.
What You Will Do
Act as a role model for Safety and Essity values, behaviors, and beliefs.
Drive strategic initiatives and implement management systems and operational standards.
Lead the Autonomous Maintenance pillar, strengthening organizational capability.
Own operational results (SQCDM) and ensure performance targets are met.
Develop and coach teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Apply structured problem-solving tools to eliminate losses and optimize performance.
Manage the annual operational budget and ensure cost control.
Ensure strong communication routines through daily, weekly, and monthly performance meetings.
Lead performance management processes and support growth of critical operational areas.
Who You Are
You are a results-driven leader with a passion for operational excellence and people development. You bring strong analytical thinking, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to inspire teams in complex environments.
Key requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in industrial operations or production leadership roles.
Knowledge of TPM, maintenance systems, and industrial processes.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience managing budgets and driving cost efficiency.
Advanced English proficiency (required)
