Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Senior Cloud Automation Engineer who will be responsible for managing and monitoring the performance of the server infrastructure on the public cloud—specifically Google Compute Engine—as part of the Cloud Automation team. What you’ll do:

As a Senior Cloud Automation Engineer, your key area of responsibility will be creating automated infrastructure management systems, written primarily in Python and Powershell, while overseeing complex Cloud Automation/DevOps projects. You will be responsible for the implementation of the project tasks, such as designing and building software to maintain IaaS solutions, as well as managing day-to-day activities like system-level tuning and debugging. You will also need to provide regular status reports to key partners to ensure the project is on time and meeting expectations. You will need to work closely with internal technical teams, such as Software, Engineering Support, and Database Administration, as well as collaborate in a cross-functional team with senior engineers.
