Job Title: Scheduling & Road Tech Specialist

Location: Riedman Campus | 100 Kings Highway S. Rochester, NY 14617
Hours Per Week: 40
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, 11a-7p
SUMMARY
As a Scheduling & Road Tech Specialist, your strong organization skills and attention to detail greatly contribute to managing important patient schedules/information and leading Technicians in administering quality patient care. The Scheduling & Road Tech Specialist prepares requisitions and other documents necessary for the Homebound Services technicians, maintains patient information, standing orders, and Nursing Home requests, and performs phlebotomy at Nursing Homes and patients’ private homes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organization & Documentation Management. Prepare, post and distribute Road Technician schedules; prepare requisitions and other documents necessary for the Homebound Services technicians; perform file maintenance on all systems including Excel, Word, LIS (Laboratory Information System) and Access programs; maintain patient information, standing orders and Nursing Home requests; accurately record essential information to provide proper documentation for customer requirements
- Leadership. Function as a change agent and leader; promote innovative practices in educational environments; integrate a long-term, innovative and creative perspective into the nurse educator role; implement strategies for organizational change; facilitate learner development and socialization; engage in effective advisement and counseling strategies that help learners meet their professional goals
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid New York State Driver's License required.
- Phlebotomy experience required.
- Excellent communication and computer skills required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years scheduling experience preferred.
- Phlebotomy Certification preferred.

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
