Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

About the Role

At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our Engineering Department in a permanent capacity.

This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting the hotel's electrical systems, ensuring all facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Four Seasons standards. Working as part of our Engineering team, you will contribute to the seamless operation of one of the world's leading luxury resorts.

What You Will Do

• Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policies on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
• Handle guest and employee maintenance requests in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring prompt follow-up when required.
• Replace burned-out fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, ballasts, switches, electrical outlets, receptacles, and associated electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the hotel.
• Assist in maintaining motors, starters, breakers, electrical wiring, sockets, and associated equipment.
• Support electrical installations for renovations, additional outlets, motors, conventions, exhibitions, and special events.
• Perform preventive maintenance in guestrooms and public areas.
• Maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed and materials used.
• Estimate materials required for assigned work and requisition supplies when needed.
• Assist in installing or relocating existing and new electrical equipment.
• Respond to work orders, room inspection reports, and emergency situations such as fires or power failures.
• Report any damages identified throughout the resort using the Engineering reporting systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Engineering workshop and work environment.
• Support major maintenance shutdowns and other engineering projects as assigned by hotel management.

What You Bring

• Previous experience as an Electrician within a hotel, commercial building, or similar environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative Engineering team.
• Good communication skills and a guest-oriented approach.
• European Passport or legal right to work in Greece.

Schedule & Contract

Permanent position – 5 working days per week, 2 days off.
