Job Description

About GSK

GSK is a global biopharma company with a special purpose – to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together. Our success depends on our people. We want GSK to be a place where people feel inspired, encouraged and challenged to be the best they can be, while continuing to grow and look after their wellbeing. If you share our ambition, join us at this exciting moment in our journey to get Ahead Together.

About the role

We are seeking a Manager, Trade Channel Strategy to lead pharmacy channel strategy and activation, alongside Loss of Exclusivity (LoE) strategy and execution across our portfolio.

This is a critical commercial leadership role with a broad remit across vaccines and general medicine pharmacy-focused brands. You will shape and deliver end-to-end channel strategy, maintain and extend key pharmacy partnerships, and play a pivotal role in protecting and growing the business through periods of LoE. The role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial plans are compliant, practical and delivered in full.

Your role will be varied and will include:

  • Owning pharmacy channel strategy and driving activation across banner groups

  • Maintaining and extending volume-based pharmacy agreements and partnerships

  • Leading LoE strategy, including authorised generics and mitigation planning

  • Working cross-functionally to execute compliant, end-to-end commercial deals

About you

We are looking for a commercially astute leader with strong strategic capability and a pragmatic, execution-focused mindset. You are comfortable operating in complex environments, influencing across functions, and building trusted relationships with external stakeholders.

You bring experience across trade channel and pharmacy strategy, with exposure to LoE, generics or complex commercial agreements. You enjoy translating strategy into action, seeing work through, and taking accountability for outcomes rather than delegating execution.

You will need:

  • Deep experience in trade channel or pharmacy commercial strategy

  • Proven capability in LoE, generics or complex commercial deal execution

  • Strong external stakeholder management and negotiation skills

  • Ability to translate strategy into action in a matrix environment

Why join us?

At GSK, we challenge ourselves to get Ahead Together – to make a positive impact on global health, drive growth, and create an environment where people can thrive. Our culture inspires our performance.

By joining GSK, you’ll enjoy:

  • A flexible and life-friendly working approach, allowing you to do your best work

  • Being in a diverse organisation that reflects the communities that we work within

  • Development and progression at a global scale, with international opportunities

  • 5 Feel Good Days and 1 volunteer day (on top of your annual leave)

  • Option to purchase up to 4 weeks’ additional leave per year

  • Access to discounted health insurance
